Look, the Moon!
Meant for children beginning to wonder about the mysteries of the universe, Look, The Moon! is gorgeously illustrated by Trotsky Marudu.
– July 2004, Outlook

This imaginatively produced and eloquently illustrated lovely book is a must read for growing children.
August 2004, The Tribune

What stood out...was his depiction of the night sky...it is as close to how a kid armed with color pencils and construction paper would portray the darkness.

Malu Bhalu
Best for bedtime re-reads with its unpretentious verse and imagery. Simple and well-intentioned, the story reads like a long poem, but with enough action to keep the pages turning. As in 'into the water – splash! – to land'. But there's a moral too for first-timer child, and each of us. The story was born out of a story-telling session the writer once had with her spastic son. In the book, they relate the thrill of having stumbled on a message so meaningful.

– April 1999, The New Indian Express

The rhymes have an infectious lilt and musically echo through the ear much after the reading is over. The touching bond between mother and child is sure to appeal to the young.
– April 1999, The Hindu

Malu Bhalu is a delightful story in verse... Tulika makes possible an encounter with the art of Ilango or the telling photographs of Raghgavendra Rao or the contemporary style of Ranjan De. Theirs is an ongoing search for representation and excellence.
– April 1999, The
Economic Times

Why are you afraid to hold my hand?
This little paperback tackles a big subject – the attitudes many people have to children with disabilities... Adults and children would need a stony heart not to be moved by it.
– May 2000, The Straits Times, Singapore
