Savita Rao

Savita Rao was a software professional who used to conduct the Traditional Bengaluru Walk every Saturday. She wrote for many years, and was published in newspapers and magazines. She used to write short stories, plays, and even acted in them. She worked closely with underprivileged children, encouraging them to do theatre and read books. Savita passed away just a few weeks after her book Postcards from Ura was published.
