Venkat Shyam is an award-winning Gond artist. His paintings are a part of museum collections, and he regularly holds exhibitions all over India and the world. He was awarded the Rajya Hasta Shilpa Puraskar by the Madhya Pradesh government in 2002, and the Ojas Art Award in 2015.
